EM in Practice - EM Festa 2006
The location:
With the ancient monastery at ist center, the island "Fraueninsel " is known to be one of the most beautiful sites in Bavaria. In addition it is a truly spiritual place with a rich history of more than 1200 years. The author Marko Pogacnik has found it to be the heart-chakra of Europe.
The EM-Festa takes place in tents on a large, tree-lined green between the cloister-walls and the lake shore with a superb view of the Bavarian Alps. www.frauenwoerth.de
You can reach the island "Fraueninsel" only by boat. Regular ferry service exists from the town of Gstadt and Prien am Chiemsee. In Prien there is the local train station, a stop on the main route Munich-Salzburg.
The closest airports are Munich (ca. 130 km) and Salzburg, Austria (70 km)
